Our Process
We break the existing basement slab, then lower your foundation one section at a time. Each “pin” is excavated and poured to the new depth before moving to the next, keeping your home fully supported throughout. Once every pin is complete, the new foundation wall is flush and solid.

A clean gravel base is added over the drainage layer and compacted to create a solid, level foundation for the new floor. Proper preparation here is what gives your finished slab its long-term strength and stability.
We install a complete drainage system — weeping tile, sump pump, and floor drains — along with any rough-ins for a future washroom or mechanical room. Delta-MS membrane is applied to the walls, and a 10 mil vapour barrier goes down to protect your basement against moisture from the ground.
In the final stage, we prepare your basement for finishing. New concrete floors are poured, the space is cleaned and inspected, and everything is left ready for the next phase — flooring, framing, in-floor heating, or a full living suite. We walk you through the completed work before handing it back.
Insulation boards are installed — or an insulated hydronic in-floor heating system, if you’ve selected it — before the new concrete slab is poured on top. The slab is leveled and finished to create a strong, durable, and comfortable floor.
